About Us

The Northern California Family Center is a non-profit counseling center that has been serving the mental health needs of Contra Costa County since 1978. Our staff consists of dedicated professionals who provide experienced clinical care and assessment for a wide range of personal and family problems. Our Crisis Home Program serves the runaway youth population of Contra Costa County. Our Long Term Foster Care Program serves children who are foster children who are waiting for possible reunification with their parents, or maybe removed from their parents due to abuse or neglect. We serve children and adolescents, individual, parents, couples and families.

In Memory of Bob Bucci NCFC Board Member since 1978.

"There's a dark and a troubled side of life;

There's a bright and a sunny side, too;

Tho' we meet with the darkness and strife,

The sunny side we also may view.

Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,

Keep on the sunny side of life;

It will help us ev'ry day, it will brighten all the way,

If we keep on the sunny side of life."

......1899 by Ada Blenkhorn

He stood with us all the way,

Thanks Bob
